Description:

Introducing "The Calling at Deer Hollow" a 36”x48” acrylic painting that was taken on a beautiful morning walk through Serenbe. There is an area called Deer Hollow that has an old wooden structure and large pecan trees reaching overhead. As we came upon the old building, a group of vultures began to alight, one by one, from the roof. They were asking us to slow down, pay attention, be present.

The vulture is a sacred animal teaching us to alchemize our experiences in life. They turn what the rest of the world sees as waste into life energy. 

This work is a reminder to be present, slow down, increase our awareness, and alchemize the difficult parts of life into the light of love and life creation.
