About Morgan
Hey there, I’m Morgan Boszilkov, an artist with a journey as colorful and diverse as the work I create. I’m a painter, ceramicist, and muralist, but my passions don’t stop there. I’m also a Spiritual Life Coach, Reiki Master, Plant Medicine Advocate, and Entrepreneur. I’m a mother, a nature lover, and soon to be podcaster.
My life has been a journey of resilience and transformation. I’ve survived breast cancer and domestic abuse, and I’m proud to share my story with you. I believe that I’ve made it through these challenges for a reason: to help others find their own path to healing. My goal is to inspire, guide, and remind you of the love and beauty that exist within and around you.
I’ve always been an artist at heart. As a child, I relished my time creating art and immersing myself in nature. I grew up in a creative family—my grandmother was an artist, my grandfather a draftsman and artist, and my other grandfather made furniture as a hobby. But art was something I was told should remain a hobby, not a career.
At 14, I was so concerned about my future that I visited a career counselor. He told me I could do whatever I wanted, and deep down, I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer. But I didn’t believe that was a viable option, so I went to Boston University, where I completed the CORE curriculum. I eventually transferred to the business school and earned a degree in accounting because it seemed practical. After a brief stint at Deloitte and Touche, I moved to Japan—a decision that marked the beginning of my journey away from the expectations of others and towards my true self.
In Japan, I modeled, taught English, and discovered my passion for eco-friendly wedding dress design. When I returned to the U.S., I lived in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and built a portfolio that almost got me onto Project Runway—twice. That experience pushed me to write a business plan for an eco-friendly wedding gown company, which I launched after moving back to the Atlanta area in 2006. I was the first to sell wedding dresses on Etsy, and my designs gained international recognition, appearing in mainstream media such as Brides Magazine. In 2009, I won TLC’s Who Are You Wearing? after dressing Melissa Rivers in the episode.
Motherhood brought new priorities, and in 2018, my life took another turn when I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Experiencing cancer's journey with chemotherapy, surgeries, and a clinical trial was a wake-up call. It taught me to love myself and to make choices aligned with my heart. It was a call to stop betraying myself and to live life to the fullest.
Part of my healing journey involved plant medicine. A psilocybin journey helped me find peace from PTSD caused by the fear of cancer recurrence. I also had transformational experiences with Ayahuasca, which led me to a deeper understanding of love and self-acceptance. In 2023, I completed 200 hours of training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, transpersonal psychology, energy medicine, and more, preparing me to guide others on their healing journeys.
I visit my Pink Flowers at Breast Care Specialists every six months, and as of January 2025, I’m celebrating five years cancer-free. My journey has taught me to embrace every aspect of myself and to live authentically. I’m learning to trust myself, to stand up for myself, and to forgive. I’m grateful for the support and resources I have, and I’m dedicated to using my experiences to help others who might not have the same support.
Art, for me, is more than just a profession—it’s a lifeline. It’s been my way of healing, expressing, and understanding myself. My journey toward becoming a confident, self-sufficient artist is intertwined with my journey toward authenticity, self-validation, and empowerment. Through my art, my story, and my work, I hope to inspire others to find their way back to themselves.
